This course helps young learners (ages 10+) explore how to communicate with Artificial Intelligence to generate stories, art, games, ideas, and solutions.
Students will learn how AI models understand language, how to design effective prompts, and how to use AI responsibly to enhance creativity and problem-solving.
By the end of the course, kids will be able to create AI-generated stories, visuals, games, and mini projects while understanding the ethics and logic behind AI tools.

What You’ll Learn:
- Understand what AI and prompt engineering are

Course Outline
- Meet AI — What is Prompt Engineering?
- Introduction to AI, chatbots, and creativity. Play the “AI or Human?” game. Create your first prompt: “Describe my dream pet.”
- How Prompts Work
- Explore input–output behavior. Learn structure: role, task, context. Activity: rewrite the same question 3 ways and compare responses.
- Creative Writing with AI
- Story generation and world-building. Activity: Write a co-authored story with ChatGPT. Challenge: turn a random word into a full short story.
- Art and Imagination
- Visual prompts for DALL·E or Canva AI. Learn style, composition, and detail words. Activity: generate digital art for your storybook.
- Problem Solving with Prompts
- Logical prompts for puzzles, math help, or code hints. Learn precision vs. creativity. Activity: design a “study assistant” prompt.
- Prompt Games & Chat Adventures
- Build a choose-your-own-adventure chat game using structured prompts. Activity: “AI Dungeon Master” — create an interactive story.
- Ethics, Safety & AI Responsibility
- Learn about misinformation, plagiarism, and AI limits. Discussion: “Can AI think?” Group activity: rewrite a prompt ethically.
- Capstone Project & Presentation
- Students combine text + visuals into a final project: AI-Generated Storybook, Poster, or Game Concept. Showcase day presentation.
